Ben started his dance journey when he joined Ngee Ann Polytechnic's Contemporary Dance Club, D3. He has since ventured into street dance and has developed an inclination and love for Hip Hop under the guidance of instructors such as Dyonn and Kyung 2K. He is currently mentored by Farhan from JAPBLAQ.

He currently teaches K-Pop MV Covers at Danz People, focussing on breaking the steps down so even beginners can learn to dance like their favorite artistes
