About NAC-AEP by Danz People
Aiming to promote practice and appreciation of dance in the youth of Singapore, Danz People collaborates with National Arts Council in the Arts Education Programme (AEP). Our programmes come with a social aim to engage and empower the youth community through dance. By teaching them the value of dance as a means of expression and reinforcing the importance of an active lifestyle, we hope to promote their participation in the arts as a deterrence to violence and other anti-social behaviour. For the fifth year running, the studio has been invited to be part of the Esplanade's Da:ns festival in terms of performance, workshops for the general public as well as dance outreach for selected homes, VWOS and at risk youths.
